Professional Experience

Curriculum Vitae
Summary: Senior policy strategist, political scientist, and public health policy expert with over a decade of leadership at the intersection of national security, public health, and international affairs. I have advanced legislative reform and shaped health policy through evidence-driven frameworks addressing complex challenges across defense, diplomacy, and public health.

I have served as a congressional staffer — including as a health policy advisor — and held senior roles in think tanks and NGOs, where I influenced critical policy decisions and legislative initiatives. My expertise includes deep knowledge of national security, foreign policy, and nuclear policy — with a focus on nonproliferation, strategic deterrence, and safeguarding against emerging threats. Separately, I hold extensive knowledge and experience in biological policy.

I have dedicated over 10,000 hours to independent research on public health policy, law, systems, and medical science, and have engaged directly with Members of Congress and senior staff, leading educational initiatives that inform and drive critical reforms in health policy, regulatory frameworks, and preparedness infrastructure.

Grounded in advanced international studies in government, strategy, and public policy from institutions in Israel, Germany, and Austria, I bring a globally informed, cross-disciplinary perspective bridging scientific research, regulatory governance, and public accountability.

My expertise includes high-stakes bipartisan negotiations, complex policy development, and navigating sensitive political landscapes. Complementing my policy work, I bring strong capabilities in marketing, digital strategy, website development, and analytics. I produce persuasive, high-quality content — from legislative drafts and policy briefs to presentations and digital media.

Several years of focused research experience in public health policy and law, with specialized expertise in federal legislative frameworks. I have conducted in-depth, analyses of key regulatory bodies — including the FDA, CDC, NIH, and HHS — with a focus on accountability, transparency, and regulatory capture. My work involves extensive review and synthesis of complex medical science and biological policy research, underpinning evidence-based legislative and regulatory reforms. This research has directly contributed to congressional action, including the authorship of multiple federal bills and the development of related policy initiatives. Senior Fellow, National Security
Gold Institute For International Strategy

The security interests of the United States and Canada and the nations of Europe have a great deal in common. Yet there is little coherent thinking and action outside a few organs of government on each side of the Atlantic to address larger, longer-term emerging security issues that equally affect those on both sides of the ocean.
From strict national security issues such as nuclear proliferation, terrorism, cyber security, and the increased instability in regions bordering Europe to the more complex security/economic issues of energy, industrial and information economics, foods, and international commerce, to the exceptionally complex issues of emigration and healthcare, the issues we all face grow ever more difficult and tightly integrated.
The purpose of the Gold Institute for International Strategy is to actively engage in the discussion of these issues by those who have not only thought deeply about them but who have actively participated in efforts to affect them. By providing both coherent thoughts and recommended actions to address various issues, the mission of the Institute is to bring real solutions to real problems in real-time.
